Building Relationships That Deliver Results

Frequently Asked Questions

South Atlantic Management is a full-service FMO built for independent life and health insurance agents who want more than access to products. We provide structured training, practical support, high commission opportunities, and the systems that help agents grow with more consistency and confidence.

Are You New?

If you are newer to the insurance industry or still building your foundation, these are some of the questions we hear most often.

Do I need experience to apply?

Not necessarily. South Atlantic works with both newer and experienced life and health insurance agents. While some experience is helpful, what matters most is your level of commitment, coachability, and willingness to build with structure.

In most cases, South Atlantic is best suited for agents who are already licensed in life, health, or both. If you are in the process of becoming licensed, reach out to our team to discuss where you are and whether it makes sense to start the conversation now.

Yes. Many agents come to South Atlantic looking to strengthen a specific area of their business, whether that is Medicare, final expense, life insurance, or supplemental products. Our training and support are designed to help agents build confidence in the products they want to sell.

Yes. Training is one of the core strengths of South Atlantic Management.

We provide practical, production-focused training designed to help agents improve performance in the field. That includes product education, sales strategy, lead management support, and guidance around key opportunities like Turning 65 marketing.

South Atlantic provides access to lead program opportunities designed to support agents who want stronger prospecting systems and more consistent growth. Lead availability and fit may vary based on your goals, product focus, and qualification status.

Applying is the first step in the qualification process.

Once you submit your information, our team reviews your background, licensing, goals, and overall fit. If South Atlantic believes there is alignment, we will reach out to discuss next steps and determine whether moving forward makes sense.

No. South Atlantic does not offer instant contracting.

Agents go through a qualification and review process before contracting approval is extended. If approved, South Atlantic will send the contract and guide you through the next phase.

Qualifying agents may gain access to a broad product portfolio that includes life insurance, final expense, Medicare solutions, and supplemental health products. You can view a breakdown of core product categories on our Product Portfolio page.

Are You Seasoned?

If you already have experience in the field, these are some of the most common questions we hear from agents looking for stronger structure, better support, or a more strategic FMO relationship.

What makes South Atlantic different from other FMOs?

South Atlantic is built around long-term agent partnerships, not mass recruiting.

We focus on supporting independent agents with structured training, practical tools, high commission opportunities, product access, compliance guidance, and responsive back-office support. Our goal is not simply to get agents contracted. Our goal is to help the right agents operate more effectively and grow with stronger consistency.

Yes. While South Atlantic originally built strong roots in the Southeast, we now support independent life and health insurance agents nationwide.

Yes. South Atlantic works with both growth-focused newer agents and experienced agents who want stronger systems, better support, broader product access, or a more strategic long-term partnership.

Our goal is to support the way you actually work, not force a one-size-fits-all model. Support varies based on your business model and goals, but qualifying agents may gain access to:

  • Product education and training
  • Online quoting and enrollment tools
  • Compliance guidance
  • Lead program opportunities
  • Turning 65 marketing support
  • Back-office support
  • Operational tools that help streamline production

In many cases, yes. Whether you are looking to expand into Medicare, strengthen final expense production, improve life insurance placement, or build more cross-sell opportunities, South Atlantic can help you evaluate how to move forward more strategically.

Qualifying agents may gain access to online quoting and enrollment tools, operational support systems, and technology resources designed to improve workflow and efficiency. This includes access to tools like IntegrityCONNECT, which helps support quoting, enrollment, and client management.

Absolutely.

South Atlantic is built around the belief that real value begins after the contract is signed. That is why we focus heavily on training, systems, support, and resources that help agents continue building with more confidence and structure over time.

Commission opportunities vary depending on product lines, carrier relationships, and qualification status. South Atlantic is known for offering strong commission opportunities, and specific details can be discussed once we better understand your licensing, goals, and business model.
